Welcome Message

Dear friends and colleagues,

During the last years, the world of work has been changing and evolving rapidly following the rapid changes taking place worldwide. New systemic risks emerge every day, threatening the health and safety of workers.

In this transitional era for OSH, the exchange of knowledge, tools and experiences from different perspectives is necessary to deal with the complex and multifactorial risks that lurk in people’s working lives.

With these thoughts, ELINYAE organizes the 4th Hellenic Conference on Occupational Health and Safety “In a changing environment“.

It is a great pleasure and honor for us to invite you to attend this important conference. “In a changing environment” the participation of all of us is necessary!

About the Conference

The 4th Hellenic Conference on Occupational Health and Safety “In a changing environment”, aims to examine the changes that can affect the health and safety of workers and arise from the new systemic risks that emerge daily from conditions such as the pandemic, implications of new technologies, as well as the effects of climate change.

The rapid pace of emergence and the scope of these new challenges, require much more than the traditional model of long-term planning and compliance. Constant vigilance, resilience, as well as immediate adaptation are the most important requirements for dealing with both new risks and existing risks that still exist in workplaces.

Keeping its focus on the human, this conference attempts to examine the factors that can affect the health and safety of workers, recognizing that the boundaries between work, physical and social environment are becoming more and more vague.

Its aim is to highlight and discuss both the different aspects of new and existing risks in the workplace as well as the new approaches or experiences to deal with them, through various perspectives and with the aim of synthesizing and disseminating knowledge about health and safety

Target Audience

The conference is addressed to all those involved in the management of health and safety issues, as well as to anyone interested in the present and future of health and safety at work.
