ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Oral Presentation or Asynchronous Presentation
Participants who wish to present their work at the Conference, either as an Oral Presentation or as an Asynchronous Presentation (pre-recorded presentation or e-Poster), are kindly requested to submit their abstract no later than Monday, 7 September 2026.
When submitting through the online system, authors should select their preferred presentation format, namely Oral Presentation or Asynchronous Presentation / e-Poster, as well as the thematic area under which their work falls.
A file in .doc or .docx format must also be uploaded, containing only the following information:
- The title of the paper.
- The names of the authors.
- The affiliation of each author, including the city where the institution or organization is based.
- The corresponding author and their email address.
- The abstract of the paper, with a maximum length of 500 words.
The abstract should be clear and concise. The 500-word limit applies only to the abstract text and does not include the title, author names, or affiliations. Depending on the nature of the work, authors are encouraged to include the background/introduction, objectives, methodology, main results or findings, and key conclusions or contributions to Occupational Health and Safety practice.
All authors will be notified in writing regarding the acceptance of their submission, the presentation format, the date and time of presentation, and the allocated presentation duration.
The duration of Oral Presentations is initially set at 8 minutes for presentation followed by 2 minutes for discussion, delivered in person by the presenting author. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine the final duration of each presentation in order to ensure the most effective organization of the scientific program.
Asynchronous Presentations are considered equivalent to Oral Presentations.
Asynchronous Presentation consists of either a pre-recorded video presentation or an e-Poster with a presentation duration of up to 5 minutes. Technical specifications for the final submission of Asynchronous Presentations will be provided to authors upon acceptance of their work.
Both Oral and Asynchronous Presentations will be grouped into thematic sessions, which will be announced in the final scientific program.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the presentation format of each accepted paper, either as an Oral Presentation or an Asynchronous Presentation, regardless of the preference indicated at the time of submission.
In order for a paper to be included in the final scientific program, the presenting author must be registered for the Conference, in accordance with the instructions and deadlines that will be communicated by the Conference Secretariat.
Accepted abstracts may be included in the electronic Abstract Book and/or the Conference Proceedings. Authors bear full responsibility for the content of both the abstract and the presentation.
